When choosing a mushroom supplement, it's important to consider the potency of the ingredients. We use 4:1 fruiting body extracts in our super mushroom complex to ensure our products have a safe and effective dose.
The amounts of extracts are listed in two different formats: the amount of an ingredient and the quantity crude equivalent (or QCE). The ratio is of the extract meaning that for every X grams (or mg) of a certain extract to be produced, it takes X grams (or mg) of the raw/unprocessed ingredient.
Water extraction! The process is used to extract the bioactive compounds and nutrients from mushrooms using water as a solvent. This method involves steeping or simmering the mushrooms in water at a specific temperature and duration to release their beneficial compounds, such as beta-glucans, polysaccharides, and other phytonutrients. The resulting liquid, known as a mushroom extract, is then spray dried into a powder and incorperated into our capsules. Water extraction is a popular technique to enhance the bioavailability and therapeutic properties of mushrooms, making their nutrients more easily absorbed by the human body.
Immunomodulating polysaccharides are a group of complex carbohydrates found in various natural sources, primarily in certain mushrooms, plants. These polysaccharides have the ability to modulate or regulate the immune system, meaning they can either stimulate or suppress immune responses, depending on the body's needs.
