About
Amur corktree bark, also known as Phellodendron amurense, is the bark of a deciduous tree native to China, Korea, and Japan. The bark contains several bioactive compounds, including berberine, which is believed to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. It has also been used to reduce cortisol (a stress hormone) and reduce feelings of stress.
